Overview

MaletaVerbs ("the App") is committed to your privacy. This policy explains what data the App handles and how.

In short: MaletaVerbs does not collect personal data, does not track you, and does not use analytics. All your practice data stays on your device.

Data stored on your device

The following is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers:

• Verb conjugation data (pre-loaded with the app)
• Your language preferences, settings, and theme choices
• Practice session history and spaced-repetition progress
• Mistake history and favorites

In the current release, your data stays on-device only. We plan to introduce iCloud sync for Pro subscribers in a future update, at which point this policy will be updated with the specifics. If and when enabled, sync will be managed entirely by Apple's iCloud — we would not have access to that data.

Data corrections (CDN)

On app launch, MaletaVerbs may check data.maletaverbs.com for updates to its verb conjugation data (for example, to correct an identified error). This check:

• Downloads only public conjugation data files
• Does not send any personal information, device identifiers, or usage data
• Fails silently if your device is offline

Standard network metadata (your IP address, user agent) may be visible to our content delivery provider (Cloudflare) during this check, as is standard for any HTTPS request. This information is not retained by us.

Purchases (Pro subscription)

MaletaVerbs Pro is purchased through Apple's App Store. Purchase processing is handled entirely by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate your purchase receipt and manage entitlement across your devices. RevenueCat may process:

• Your Apple-provided purchase receipt (does not include your Apple ID or personal information)
• Anonymous subscription state (active, paused, cancelled)
• Standard network metadata during receipt validation

What we do not do

• We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs
• We do not collect your email address, name, or any personal information
• We do not sell, rent, or share any data with advertisers
• We do not require an account to use the App
• We do not use third-party tracking cookies on this website

Children's privacy

MaletaVerbs does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The App is suitable for learners of any age; because no personal data is collected, children can use the App safely without parental data concerns.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the App's data practices change (for example, if a new feature is added that requires data processing). Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date.
